Energizing communities

Through our Community Partnership Program, Liberty Gas Storage provides support for programs in the areas of economic development, education, environment and health and safety. Here are some of the programs where we have invested our time, resources and energy:

Liberty Gas Storage Math & Science Alliance

Launched in March 2006, Liberty Gas Storage has teamed up with Sulphur High School to help support the efforts of math and science classes at the school.

Teachers can use these funds to enhance current curriculum, support field trips, bring in guest speakers at a school assembly or to purchase new materials and equipment.

"Project: Safe Communities" with local fire fighters

Safety is a high priority for Liberty Gas Storage. As part of our commitment to the health and safety of our employees and the community, we have partnered with the Houston River Volunteer Fire Department and the Sulphur Fire Department to fund "Project: Safe Communities" -- a program that will provide life-saving equipment for the fire fighters, as well as underwrite fire prevention and safety programs in the local area schools.

Economic development initiatives

Contributing to community development helps to build thriving communities. Liberty Gas Storage is proud to support a number of community and economic development programs in partnership with some of the following local organizations: West Calcasieu Association of Commerce, Calcasieu Parish Jr. Livestock Show, Sulphur Kiwanis Club and the Brimstone Historical Museum.
